AEG/Leopard offices will accept the application for a “Return Visa Long Stay” Where should I apply?- You are not free to choose to which mission of a Schengen state to apply. You have to apply at the mission of the country where your main destination / longest stay will be or if it is difficult to determine (e.g. cruises, bus tours) you must apply from the mission of the first point of entry. If you are not sure (equal time in several countries), please contact the French Embassy at [email protected]. Sufficient proof has to be submitted about the complete stay in the Schengen Territory.
The Embassy of France strongly advises to book an appointment well in advance: one month before travelling is standard and it should not be less than 2 weeks in advance for a Schengen visa. Delays to get an appointment in the summer season have to be taken into account as well. Remember that you may apply for a Schengen visa up to 6 months before your actual travel.
Applicants or their representative have to visit nearest AEG office with all the relevant documents and passport to get their appointment. No appointment will be issued over telephone and email.
Please keep AEG Receipt safely for any future correspondence, passport tracking and Passport collection.
